Zampler turns your iPhone into a pocket sampler. Record any sound, chop it across pads, stretch it into granular clouds, run it through tape effects, and play it all in time with a shared transport.
SAMPLE ANYTHING
• Record from the built-in mic or any connected input: USB, wired headset, or Bluetooth
• Resample the app's own output to layer and bounce ideas
• Arm recording to start automatically when the sound begins
• Trim, crop, normalize, reverse and fade, with undo
• Import any audio file, and save your samples to the library
FIVE-SLOT SAMPLE BANK
Five slots sit under the transport, always in reach. Each has its own trim, loop, level, pan, and effect sends. Tap ▶ to play a slot. While the transport runs, slots start on the next bar so everything stays in time.
GRANULAR SYNTHESIS
Turn any sample into a cloud of tiny grains. Play it on an XY or polar pad: move your finger to scan through the sound while shaping grain size, density, pitch, spray, and detune. Choose Hann, triangle, or percussive grain windows, lock grains to the tempo, latch the cloud with Hold, and shape it with a curved envelope.
PADS AND STEP SEQUENCER
• 16 pads, each with its own slice, pitch, level, pan, envelope, play mode, reverse, and choke group
• Slice a sample evenly, at transients, or chromatically across the pads
• A step sequencer for every pad: up to 64 steps, swing, soft and accent steps, and live recording quantized to the beat
TAPE AND EFFECTS
• Tape looper with overdub, varispeed, reverse, wow, flutter, drive and hiss
• Tape delay, synced or free, with ping-pong and saturated feedback
• Algorithmic or convolution reverb, including any part of your own sample as the space
• Chorus/flanger and a five-band EQ with a live curve
• Spatial panner that moves sound around your head, with tempo-synced motion
• Look-ahead limiter on the master
AUTOMATION
Record a control's movement for 1 to 8 bars, and it loops in time with the music—up to eight lanes at once.
PLAY TOGETHER
Sync tempo, start and stop with other devices running Zampler nearby, over Wi-Fi or peer-to-peer. Clocks lock together so devices never drift apart.
RECORD AND EXPORT
Record your whole performance at 44.1 or 48 kHz. Export takes or samples as WAV, AIFF, CAF, FLAC, Apple Lossless or AAC, and find them in the Files app.
BUILT FOR EVERY SCREEN
Zampler adapts from iPhone to iPad, and on iPhone Duo it spreads out when you unfold it, putting pads and controls side by side.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
No accounts, no ads, no tracking. Your recordings stay on your device.
