Description

It just so happened that you met the beginning of the zombie apocalypse in the middle of the night forest. Running away from zombies, you accidentally stumbled upon a lonely hut hidden in the very center of a forest full of walking dead. What was the surprise when you found out that there is a fortified basement under the hut, which has everything you need for survival. And from that moment your story begins...

The main goal is unchanged - to survive at any cost! During the day, you are engaged in arranging your new shelter, building fortifications, additional rooms and walking around in search of resources, food, equipment and weapons. At night, you will have to defend your shelter from hordes of hungry zombies. It depends only on your actions whether you will be able to meet the new morning. But as soon as you settle down and get stronger, it will be time to find salvation from this cursed forest.

Fun game although gets very repetitive

I just finished my first playthrough of the game, well at least act 1 since it says act 2 is still under development. The progress in the beginning and middle is fun, but by the end it was more of a chore to get through. You find you have about the best equipment you can get, and other than taking another hit or two the zombies in later zones aren’t much different from the beginning. There are times where you’ll come across huge zombies that are like tanks but other than just taking longer to kill they aren’t much different than the normal zombies. It’d be cool to have more zombie types (fast, ranged, invisible, idk just something different) that you have to change up your strategy against. It’d also be cool to have it so rather than leaving a zone and going straight back to the safe house if you could continue traveling from where you are.

Overall I liked the game but at the end where you just need to gather resources to finish it was kind of a slog through each day going to the merchant and buying everything just to go home and end the day so you can refresh the merchant again.

Just finished for the first time thoughts.

Definitely liked the game even with some flaws. 1)why does autopilot take more fuel than driving normally? Why punish for a convenience park. 2)not enough storage space especially as you get higher level and upgrade loot. Should be able to put as much into any stat as wished for especially strength cause you get so much stuff you can’t carry it but can’t come back either. 3)the merchant shouldn’t have a set amount of cash and or should have IOUs so I can sell all said junk instead of being unable to because he’s out of cash quickly even with all merchant perks upgraded. Also ammo should stack like casino chips cause they take so many slots for each type it contributes heavily to bloated storage. Perhaps an auto scrap system where you get 80% the value of something so you can fill up on good items and minimize waste? Otherwise liked the game but by the end skipped so many repeat locations cause it wore on so long

great concept

this game reminds me a lot of Last Man on Earth, but without forcing you to pay to be even half decent. so far it feels like it has a great flow.

my only complaint is the controls are a bit wonky. the joystick should have a range in which you can touch it. like if i drag anywhere on the left side of the screen, it should still work. also, it’s 2D but also 3D and at times gets a little confusing as to where i am on the screen, the depth perception is hard at times.

otherwise, this game definitely has an addicting quality about it, so take my complaints as suggestions. i look forward to seeing where this game goes!
