Banana Kong 2’s hairy star has eaten so much delicious fruit, an avalanche of peels threatens to bury him! Guide the galloping gorilla through forests and caves as you outrun this unstoppable wave—leaping over logs, bouncing off toads, and collecting even more bananas. It’s a jungle out there!
What we love: The incredible visuals. Whether you’re swinging from balloons above the treetops or being chased by a crocodile underwater, this side-scrolling platformer’s stunning graphics are filled with great touches. You’ll crack up at the pained expression on Kong’s face when he slams headfirst into a thorny boulder—or when he’s snagged by a giant skeleton in a mineshaft.
Quick tip: In water sections, keep an eye out for speed-boosting currents—they’ll keep you ahead of that hungry croc for a few extra seconds.
Meet the creator: Banana Kong 2 was developed by Netherlands-based Engine Software (Banana Kong Blast, Little Baby Horse) in collaboration with publisher FDG Entertainment. According to the team, the pandemic was partially responsible for the sequel: “The game is about breaking free and traveling the world, which we couldn’t do at the time.”
