While live sports are on hold, sports apps are stepping up to offer free access to classic games, iconic films, and full-season replays.


Baseball

With the season postponed, Major League Baseball has made the last two full seasons available on MLB.TV, which means you can watch any game from the 2018 and 2019 campaigns for free via the MLB app. There are no blackouts, and the postseason is included.

Check out the MLB Vault page in YouTube to watch a selection of the greatest games in MLB history. Elsewhere, PBS has made Ken Burns’ iconic documentary Baseball available to stream via the PBS app.


Football

The NFL is offering complimentary access to NFL Game Pass through May 31. Replay full, commercial-free HD broadcasts from the 2009–2019 regular seasons and postseasons, or dig into the vast NFL Films Archive.


Basketball

The NBA is offering a free preview of NBA League Pass through April 22. League Pass offers both full-length and condensed replays of all games from the 2019–2020 season, as well as loads of classic games and other content.


Hockey

The NHL app is providing full replays of all games from the 2019–2020 season through April 30. Look in the scores and schedule pages.


Auto racing

Find updated links to classic races in the official NASCAR app.


Pro wrestling

The official WWE app has unlocked thousands of hours of archival content, including every WrestleMania to date, as well as every Royal Rumble, SummerSlam, and Survivor Series. You can also see recent episodes of Raw and SmackDown.
