The app’s brief breathing and meditation practices are super simple to follow. And every time you complete a session, you’re rewarded with a video of an animated tree sprouting a little green shoot, representing your personal growth.
Oak offers plenty of options. Choose mindful or unguided meditation. Pick a male or female guide. Turn on a background sound (rain, white noise, or a continuous “om,” for example). If you don’t have time for meditation, do a quick breathing exercise or two.
