In honor of Superman’s 80th anniversary, Injustice 2 has added the perfect tribute—a version of the Man of Steel who looks just as he did when he first appeared in 1938.
Classic Superman’s cel-shaded art style is a fun contrast to the gritty design of Wonder Woman, Deadshot, and other characters in this DC Comics fighting game. But it’s not the only nod to the hero’s Golden Age roots. One of his special moves lets you pick up and hurl a green car modeled after the one on the famous cover of Action Comics #1.
How do you get this great new character? Either by fighting in Injustice 2’s arena battles or acquiring a special Superman Celebration Chest, which you can purchase with in-game currency. Once you earn enough character shards to unlock him, he’ll join your roster permanently, but you can win him only for a limited time. So don’t delay!
