Want to save some time? And maybe some money along the way?

The Target app makes it easy, preparing you and your family for vacations, back-to-school, birthday parties, weeknight dinners—basically all the events of your life.

When you open the app, start by designating your home Target store. Then make a shopping list.

Into instant gratification? Tap the “Pick it up” button to get it from a nearby store within a couple of hours.

The app will show you the in-store availability of everything you want—and even tell you which aisle it’s on. And there’s a store map, so you can swoop through the aisles without backtracking from shoes to cleaning supplies to sporting goods.

With the Cartwheel function, scour by category to find price breaks throughout the store. With the tap of a finger, all those deals get aggregated under one master barcode in your Wallet within the app.

When you’re ready to pay, your bargains roll into a single swipe so you’re not the one holding up the other antsy shoppers at checkout.

Everyone behind you in line will thank you for using Cartwheel.

And if you want to skip the lines altogether, Target’s Drive Up option at more than 1,750 stores (and growing) allows you to place your order on your phone and receive an email or push notification when everything is ready. Drive to the store, park, let them know you’ve arrived (through the app), and those red-and-white shopper fairies will deliver your whole bundle directly to your car. With a quick scan of the confirmation barcode on the app, you’re all set.

Use Siri Shortcuts to take care of tasks without having to search for and open the Target app. Head to the Accounts tab within the app and tap the Siri Shortcuts section. From there you can set up custom voice phrases for things like viewing the weekly ad, opening the scanner, pulling up your saved Cartwheel offers, and more. Once you've saved a phrase or two, trigger the action with “Hey Siri.”
