Tighten those shoelaces and spray on some sunblock! New Pokémon have arrived in Pokémon GO. Even if you’ve meticulously scoured every inch of your hometown to fill your Pokédex, you haven’t quite caught them all.

If it’s been a while since you last lobbed curveballs at Pidgeys, you should probably bolster your gear before taking on the new Gen 4 creatures. Visit PokeStops and spin the photo discs to earn more items. Using Razz Berries and Super Balls can help capture stronger Pokémon, so stockpile a few to minimize the risk of some majestic new find escaping from sight.

Let’s take a closer look at some of the Pokémon joining Pikachu and Jigglypuff in Niantic’s charming virtual world.

Chimchar

Catch as many of these fiery monkeys as possible to eventually evolve Chimchar into its Monferno and Infernape forms.

Official description: “The gas made in its belly burns from its rear end. The fire burns weakly when it feels sick.”

Featured moves: Ember, Flame Wheel, Flamethrower, Flame Charge

Turtwig

This adorable turtle-like Pokémon is now wandering around town. With two evolution states—including an imposing Torterra final form—Turtwig is well worth tracking down.

Official description: “It undertakes photosynthesis with its body, making oxygen. The leaf on its head wilts if it is thirsty.”

Featured moves: Razor Leaf, Seed Bomb

Piplup

The cuteness levels are out of control with Piplup. If you find one, equip it as a buddy to speed up candy acquisition and eventually unlock its Prinplup and Empoleon evolutions.

Official description: “Because it is very proud, it hates accepting food from people. Its thick down guards it from cold.”

Featured moves: Bubble, Bubble Beam, Drill Peck, Icy Wind
