Skip the Line at the Apple Store

When you’re out shopping for holiday gifts, the last thing you want to do is wait in a checkout line. Luckily, the Apple Store app lets you pay for certain accessories (think small items like cases, cables, and chargers) right from your iPhone. Simply scan the product’s barcode, check out with Apple Pay, and be on your merry way—no employee assistance required.

Buying an iPhone XR, iPad Pro, MacBook Air, or Apple Watch Series 4? The Apple Store app can speed those purchases too. Before you leave home, add the product to your bag in the app, then tap “Buy with Apple Pay” and select “Pick up in Store.”

When you arrive at the store, let a Specialist know you’re there to pick up. (If you can’t go yourself, send a friend or family member. Just add their contact information when you place your order in the app.) Either way, your items will be gathered in a jiffy and you’ll be on your way.
