Crush the Castle: Siege Master

Launch Rocks from a Trebuchet

View

You’d be hard-pressed to find a game franchise as delightfully destructive as Crush the Castle. Since 2009, the series has encouraged players to toy with physics as they propel small objects at larger ones—and the latest entry, Siege Master, adds a few new wrinkles to the fun.

These structures look pretty cool...until you crush them.

The concept is simple: Harness the physics-fueled power of a trebuchet to fling stones and reduce structures to rubble. Intuitive controls make this as easy as tapping twice, though Siege Master is definitely not as dumb as rocks.

Choosing the perfect projectile is as important as where you hurl it. Do you use a thick boulder? Smaller spread shot? A straight-up bomb? Pull out a precarious plank with the new grappling hook, or go low by striking a castle's wooden supports with a fireball to trigger a chain reaction that ultimately brings down the entire estate.

All castles are not created equal. That wooden pirate ship, for instance, looks easier to take down than the stone castle below.

You can also make a castle’s clueless inhabitants contribute to their own doom; a well-placed shot at a makeshift vehicle driven by some poor skeletons could, for example, slam their car into the structure’s key supports. Whatever works!

Crush the Castle: Siege Master’s realistic physics system and clever constructions ensure hours of strategic fun. Just aim, throw, and watch the demolition unfold.
