Look alive: Zombies have invaded PUBG Mobile! The Resident Evil 2–themed Survive Till Dawn mode drops hordes of the undead shamblers onto the blockbuster battle royale’s sprawling map, adding a fascinating new threat to an island already teeming with trouble.
iOS players will be particularly well-suited to deal with the reanimated menace, thanks to two exclusive items: a Resident Evil–themed frying pan (good for swinging, not cooking) and an Elite Operatives suit to turn your avatar into a zombie-fighting hero in the mold of Resident Evil 2 stars Leon S. Kennedy and Claire Redfield.
And while zombies might not stumble in fear from a player waving a frying pan, don’t discount the heavy melee weapon. It not only packs a close-range wallop—great for fending off an undead gang—but also blocks bullets and, if you time it right, can swat grenades. Tennis, anyone?
