Packed with hundreds of movies and TV shows, the Disney+ app is full of longtime favorites and familiar names. Here are five all-time favorites to enjoy with the whole family.

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937)

‣ What’s a more elegant way to jump into Disney’s movie catalog than to go back to the very beginning? Disney’s first full-length animated feature is as bewitching today as it was upon its release nearly a century ago.

Fantasia (1940)

‣ When Fantasia premiered in 1940, there was truly nothing like it. A novel blend of animation and classical music, inspired by a chance meeting between Walt Disney and conductor Leopold Stokowski, the film wasn’t an initial success. But in the nearly 80 years since, its dancing mushrooms, runaway mops, and iconic “Sorcerer’s Apprentice” sequence have become as much a part of the Disney legacy as Mickey himself.

Lady and the Tramp (1955)

‣ Revisit the timeless romance between a pampered cocker spaniel, a stray mutt, and the adventures (and Italian food) that bring them together. Its sweetness and swagger remain untouched by the years. Also, be sure to check out the live-action remake streaming on Disney+.

101 Dalmatians (1961)

‣ Walt Disney was quite the dog lover, so it’s no surprise that this animated masterpiece still feels like magic. It features not only a huge cast of tail-wagging heroes but also Cruella de Vil, possibly the most fabulously outrageous villainess of all time.

Frozen (2013) and Frozen 2 (2019)

‣ Disney’s newest classics have it all: fierce heroines, hilarious supporting characters, and unforgettable songs led by...well, you know. For more icy fun, stream the sequel, Frozen 2, as well as its making-of documentary Into the Unknown, a six-part look behind the scenes at the creation of a new Disney classic.

Disney+ works seamlessly with the Apple TV app, which brings your movies, TV shows, and live sports together in one place.
