Catch Pokémon All Around You

There’s one! Pause, aim your Poké Ball, throw it, and enjoy those seconds of anticipation as you wait to see if you’ve made a catch.

Pokémon GO is all about capturing a variety of pocket monsters in the real world; thanks to augmented reality, you can discover Pokémon popping up in locations around you, whether you’re at home or strolling through your neighbourhood.

The map, which extends out from your current location, is based on the real world. Actual landmarks and buildings are used as PokéStops and Gyms, so get close and tap them. PokéStops are where you can acquire items such as Poké Balls and potions; at the Gyms, you can battle with the Pokémon of rival teams for control.

Before a Raid battle begins, a Raid egg will appear on top of a Gym and will hatch to reveal a legendary Pokémon. If you co-operate with nearby players and defeat the Pokémon that emerge from these eggs, you’ll get the chance to make an ally.

Trade the Pokémon you catch and train them for battles. When you don’t have enough candy to strengthen your pocket monsters, set them as your sidekick, and walk together. Remember that for Raid battles, showdowns with the evil organization Team GO Rocket and the GO Battle League, having strong Pokémon is essential.

Add to all of this the fact that you can meet Pokémon from different regions including Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, and Unova, and you can look forward to all the fun of filling in the Pokédex.
