Dungeon of the Endless: Apogee

Escape from Auriga

View

You’ve crash-landed on a mysterious planet, your spaceship is in tatters, and hostile aliens are closing in. Use your wits—and some powerful defenses—to survive the thrilling labyrinths in Dungeon of the Endless: Apogee.

How it plays: Guide your squad through a dangerous maze by moving from room to room, battling foes and setting up defenses to protect what’s left of your ship. Each time you open a door, you could find precious food and gear...or a swarm of deadly enemies.

Don’t split up! A horde can quickly overwhelm a hero who goes solo.

Why we love it: A roguelike? A tower-defense game? It’s both, with randomly generated rooms that make every run-through feel fresh. And it’s a blast watching your heroes and carefully laid traps (a Tesla Module here, some tear gas there) hold off waves of beasts.

Don’t miss: Be mindful of which heroes you recruit. The speedy, sword-swinging bounty hunter Sara is a fantastic starter option; pair her with Nurse Ratchet or the adorable warrior pug Ayairi, both of whom can learn the self-healing Paramedic ability.

Meet the creator: Dungeon of the Endless was born out of a community event for French developer Amplitude Studios, whose previous games include Endless Space and Endless Legend.
