Spanning film and original series, the Marvel Cinematic Universe is as big as it sounds. And thanks to Disney+, it’s all streaming in one place—which is especially handy as its epic story lines begin to weave together across films and series.

The shows

With shows like WandaVision, Loki, and now Hawkeye, the MCU has expanded into series in a big way.

Hawkeye: The series picks up the story of Clint Barton (Jeremy Renner) in the wake of the universe-changing effects of Avengers: Endgame—and the post-credits scene of Black Widow. The series also introduces Hailee Steinfeld as Kate Bishop, a fellow archer with an incredible story of her own.

WandaVision: The enigmatic series follows Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany), who after the events of Avengers: Endgame inexplicably turn up in a 1950s sitcom.

The Falcon and the Winter Soldier: An action-packed six-episode series that picks up the story of the two Avengers (played by Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan) as well as the complicated legacy of Captain America’s shield.

Loki: You can’t keep a good trickster god down. Loki follows the shifty Asgardian (Tom Hiddleston) as he crosses paths with the Time Variance Authority, a never-before-seen agency charged with protecting “the proper flow of time.”

What If...?: The animated series turns MCU story lines on their heads, leading to uncharted territory, like “What if Peggy Carter took the super-soldier serum and became Captain Carter?”
