5 Tips to Get Fit With SmartGym
SmartGym: Gym & Home Workouts
HIIT, Home, Gym Weight Lifting
With a library of more than 620 exercises, SmartGym designs the perfect workout for your goals—and adapts to your needs as you progress. It not only calls out each rep as you work out but also highlights the muscle groups you should be engaging. Here are five ways to get the most out of the app.
1. Optimize your training
The app’s Smart Trainer feature uses artificial intelligence to constantly adapt its personalized workouts to you. Its suggestions take into account the primary and secondary muscle groups targeted by the exercises you’re doing, required recovery time, and much more. You can find the Smart Trainer by tapping the More tab on the bottom of the app’s home screen and scrolling to Smart Trainer.
2. Work out with Apple Watch
With SmartGym’s standalone app for Apple Watch, get suggestions from the Smart Trainer, view the Muscle Recovery tool, and launch (or pause) all of your workouts from your wrist—no iPhone required! You can also control your music without leaving the app by swiping left on a workout screen.
3. Track your progress
Want to get a sense of how hard your muscles are working during your training sessions? The Muscle Recovery tool on the History tab highlights the groups you’ve been strengthening and estimates their state of recovery. And because your muscles are continually recovering, the tool updates multiple times throughout the day.
4. Get inspired with widgets
Add SmartGym’s widget to your Home Screen to see motivational quotes, view all your workout charts in once place, and have one-tap access to your next workout. The app’s Lock Screen widget lets you check key data without having to unlock your device.
5. Train with friends
SharePlay makes it easy to dive into a SmartGym workout with friends, no matter where they are. When you’re in any routine in the app, tap the More button on the top right, then tap SharePlay to start a session. You’ll both be able to see your SmartGym screen—and each other.
