Giant scorpions. Frost demons. Evil skeletons. Diablo Immortal is filled with unrelenting swarms of enemies to bash and batter as a legendary hero. But these demonic denizens are just the warm-up act.
The further you fight through this epic RPG, the sturdier the challenge. And eventually, that means taking on bone-chilling, screen-filling bosses. So sharpen your blade, ready your wand, and party up with a few pals—the following five foes aren’t for the weak of heart!
Fleshcraft Hydra
An acid-spitting, multiheaded world boss
Key to victory: Look out for those heads! The hydra’s many maws spew poison across the battlefield. To survive, try attacking from the side or back.
Find it in: The Library of Zoltun Kulle. To summon this beast, complete Kulle’s Hidden Chamber event by finding five Lost Pages and using the Portal Tome. (Must be Hell 1 difficulty or higher.)
Lord Martanos
A former paladin who isn’t having a great afterlife
Key to victory: Lord Martanos’ army of undead pals can quickly grow out of control. Take out these foot soldiers quickly, and be sure to avoid the spinning shields—their knock-back effect make it easy for enemies to swarm you.
Find it in: Mount Zavain. Head to the upper-left corner of the map and interact with the altar to summon him. (Must be Hell 1 difficulty or higher.)
Glacial Colossus
This frozen brute is as dangerous as it looks.
Key to victory: Avoid the frost beams by staying just below the Colossus, then rotating counterclockwise between the beams. You can also hide behind ice pillars!
Find it in: The Cavern of Echoes dungeon in the Frozen Tundra.
Lassal the Flame-Spun
The game’s first Helliquary raid boss takes a coordinated effort to defeat.
Key to victory: That stone smash attack is a doozie, but if the whole team manages to dodge it, it creates a massive rock that can be used for cover from the next (deadly) attack.
Find it in: The demonic portal in Westmarch’s Central Square.
Skarn
He’s been antagonizing you all game. Take him down!
Key to victory: Skarn annoyingly creates clones—aim for the one with a red circle underneath it. And consider having some trap-based skills at your disposal to deal with minions that attack you as part of his Deceiving Visions ability.
Find it in: The Realm of Damnation. Good luck!
