Might As Well Jump!

These games will put some spring in your step.

Rolling barrels. Spiky pits. Speeding cars. If it’s remotely dangerous, we’ve jumped over it. The most sprightly move in gaming is the backbone of some of our favorite experiences. Hop to it!

Try to outscore the competition in the Toad Rally. Wahoo!

Pounce like a plumber

For over four decades, Nintendo’s mustachioed mascot Mario has jogged through sewers, stomped on Goombas, and launched himself up flagpoles. You’ll do all that (and much more) in Super Mario Run, where you’ll revive the Mushroom Kingdom by jumping through colorful stages based on classic Mario games.

Each jump is more precarious than the last. How high can you get?

Get your kicks

Jumping might not seem like the safest way to climb a tree, but in Wall Kickers, it’s the fastest—and most dangerous. Navigating past crumbling walls, electrified barriers, and bounce pads is a thrill, while ever-changing level designs keep you happily looking before you leap.

Legs getting tired? Snag a jetpack for a quick pick-me-up.

Don’t look down

Tilt your device left and right to hop to dizzying heights in the spectacular sequel Doodle Jump 2. Each themed level features hilarious perils—from shifty sheep to grumpy dinosaurs. Quick tip: Leaping through the sides of the screen can give you a last-second foothold.

The saws don’t stop—and neither should you!

See the saw

Jumping through the deadly downpour in the twitchy action romp A Slight Chance of Sawblades takes lightning-fast reflexes. The more you leap over, the more points you’ll rack up—but one hit and you’re toast! (They’re sawblades, after all.)

Is it legal? Probably not. Is it fun? Most definitely.

Flip out

Race along ledges, leap between buildings, and fulfill your free-running (and jumping) fantasies in Flip Runner! Miss a mark and it’s ragdoll city as you become a parkour pancake, so get your timing just right!
