THE BASICS

What’s New in Pages, Numbers, and Keynote

With Pages, Numbers, and Keynote, creating beautiful documents, spreadsheets, and presentations on Mac, iPad, and iPhone feels effortless. And the latest update to the iWork suite makes each app even more powerful. Here’s a look at just a few of the newest features.

Present remotely with Keynote

Need to present a Keynote over videoconference? Use the front-facing camera on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac to add a live video of yourself directly onto your slides, either full-screen or in a window. Presenting as a group is also a lot easier now that presenters can take turns controlling the playback of a single deck from anywhere. No more calling out, “Next slide, please!”

Be the star of your own presentation with live video.

Visualize your data with Numbers

Pivot tables have arrived! By making it easy to group and summarize values, this powerful and intuitive data-analysis tool helps you explore patterns and trends—all without affecting your source data. You can even import and export pivot tables to and from Microsoft Excel.

Edit on the go with Pages

It’s easier than ever to view and edit Pages documents on iPhone: Screen View automatically displays text, images, and other elements of a document in a single-column continuous flow that’s optimized for your iPhone screen. It automatically enlarges text to improve readability, resizes photos and drawings to fit your display, and lets you scroll tables horizontally.
