FotoNoa now has two modes, and you pick yours when you install it. Basic is for anyone just starting out: just what you need to go out and shoot, with no jargon or technical numbers. You set up your phone by picking its cameras — ultra wide, main and zoom — the way you see them when you take a photo, instead of millimeters. Advanced is everything the app already had, exactly as before. In Basic, the Map tab opens an assistant that builds your plan in six steps: what you want to photograph (the Moon, the Sun or the Milky Way), with which camera, against what (a hill, a lighthouse, a tower), where you'll shoot from and when they line up. When you pick the camera, a drawn viewfinder shows you how it would come out with each one, and how far back you should stand: the more zoom, the farther away. If from that spot they never line up, it tells you where that object does pass and offers the nearby places that sit on that side. It ends in "Your plan": a card with the map, what, when, from where and with which camera, plus how to take that photo. You save it to Favorites, you can see it in 3D, and "Directions" opens your phone's map. You can switch modes any time in Settings, along with the language and your cameras.

"Which night is best?" now recommends a single night, and only when it's really worth it: for stars or for the Moon over the landscape, with the reasons. If none looks good, it says so. Each night shows its score from 1 to 10 and what it's good for. Tap a night to open its card: clouds, the Moon and when it sets or rises, the sky at your spot and tips. From there you can set the app to that date.

The header chip is now "Support": the coffee, who makes the app and how to write in. Switch language with a small button in that screen's title bar. While the forecast loads, Today tells you clearly what it's doing. Thunderstorms: a card in Today tells you when there's a chance of lightning, with the hours and how to shoot it. Likely fog, in "In your sky", with what kind of shot it's good for. Seeing from 1 to 10 in Night and on the Moon sheet. Tap the name of any forecast row and it tells you what that reading is. The viewer now shows the Sun, Moon and planets at their real size. Fixed: the "no connection" banner that showed up while online.

The ISS in front of the Sun and the Moon: FotoNoa works out when the Space Station crosses the disk, where you can see it from, and how long it lasts. With the map of the path, the exact spot to stand on, and a guide to photographing it. Favorites: everything you save in one place, from your map scenes to an eclipse, a clear night, or a sunrise outing.

FotoNoa now speaks English. It follows your phone's language, and you can pick Spanish or English yourself from the FotoNoa screen. Every screen, guide, alert and calculation is in your language, with dates, times and numbers the way you read them. The Wikipedia cards of the sky viewer open the article in your language.

Tu foto en 3D, renovada: el zoom arranca en 8 mm y marca todos tus lentes, el cielo se dibuja con las nubes, la niebla y la lluvia del pronóstico de esa hora, y desde ahí elegís con qué lente calcular y guardás el favorito sin volver al mapa. Favoritos con foto: cada uno guarda la imagen del 3D, tienen pantalla propia con notas, y se los podés mandar a un amigo por un enlace. «Llevar sin señal» deja la salida entera guardada en el teléfono, para cuando no hay internet donde vas a fotografiar. «Tu salida» te guía paso a paso en el lugar, desde llegar hasta la última foto. «Ver» ahora abre el Street View mirando justo hacia tu punto marcado, sin límite de veces. Aprender suma la guía del histograma y las herramientas «Misma luz» y timelapse. Arreglado: recibir un favorito por enlace ya no cierra la app, el buscador del mapa no se traba y el visor del cielo no falla al abrirse.

Mapa nuevo: ahora es el de Google, más rápido y con satélite de mejor detalle. Eventos estrena la solapa Cerca: talleres, salidas y las tiendas y servicios de fotografía que tenés a mano. Hoy se divide en Planificación y Comunidad. El día hora por hora se mira de otro día con las flechas, sin cambiar tu fecha. Lo que ya cargó se guarda media hora: la app abre más rápido y gasta menos datos. El botón de mi ubicación del mapa lleva el pin a donde está el teléfono, y el buscador suma «Usar mi ubicación». Visor: al volver del segundo plano el cielo vuelve a apuntar bien, sin cerrar y abrir.

Fechas: qué día la Luna llena sale detrás de ese cerro, con fase y ventana a elegir. Luz y sombra del relieve en el mapa, a la hora que elijas. Ayuda del visor en tarjetas, sin lenguaje técnico. Videos nuevos en Aprender. Si el pronóstico no llega, se muestra el último guardado y se avisa.

El visor apunta derecho, y más. • El cielo se ancla al norte verdadero cuadro a cuadro. Si algo quedó corrido, lo enderezás centrando un astro en la mira y tocando su nombre. • «¿Cuándo pasa por acá?»: apuntás a un punto del paisaje y te dice qué día y a qué hora pasa por ahí el Sol, la Luna o el centro galáctico. • Foto para compartir: la cámara y el cielo dibujado se juntan en una sola imagen que se guarda en la galería. • Modo nocturno en rojo y un ojo que esconde los nombres para ver el cielo limpio. • Buscador dentro del visor, con la ISS y Tiangong siempre, y a qué hora pasan. • Nocturno: cada hora de la tabla va pintada según cuánto conviene salir. • Estadísticas de uso anónimas y reportes de fallos, con interruptor en Acerca de. • Aviso dentro de la app cuando hay una versión nueva.
