NoteRun: Python Notebooks
Run & fix Jupyter notebooks
Free · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
New: AirCode brings your Colab notebook to your iPhone with one QR code and sends your changes back. End-to-end encrypted, no account.
NoteRun runs Jupyter notebooks (.ipynb) on your iPhone and iPad. Before you press Run, it shows what would fail, and it fixes old code, Colab lines and broken paths for you. Free, offline, no account.
KEY FEATURES
• Fixes old and Colab notebooks: Python 2 print, names removed from NumPy and pandas, Colab-only lines, paths from another computer: one tap fixes them.
• Knows before you run: Missing packages, missing files and unsupported commands are listed cell by cell before you press Run.
• Sort, filter and group by touch, keep the code: Open a table full screen and tap a column to sort it, filter it, group by it or see its distribution. Add to code writes what you did into the notebook as pandas code. Tables also export as CSV.
• Opens from a link: Share a GitHub, Kaggle, gist, Colab or Google Drive page to NoteRun from Safari, or paste its link: one notebook, or a whole GitHub repository to pick from. A project ZIP opens too. The notebook arrives with the data files it names, already checked for what will and won’t run.
• Never freezes: Keep typing while a cell runs. Stop halts runaway loops, and says so when it can’t.
• Saved as you go: Edits go straight to your .ipynb in Files or iCloud Drive. Changed somewhere else? NoteRun asks first.
• 23 packages, built in: NumPy, pandas, matplotlib, SciPy, scikit-learn, statsmodels, SymPy, PyArrow and more come with the app and work offline. Charts open full screen.
• Native on iPhone and iPad: Large text, VoiceOver, dark mode and keyboard shortcuts like ⇧↩. In English, Turkish, Japanese and Brazilian Portuguese.
AirCode
Click AirCode in Google Colab and scan the code with your iPhone. The notebook arrives with its data files and runs as it is. When you’re done, send it back: Colab gets your changes.
End-to-end encrypted, no account. The key is only in the QR code. Our server sees only encrypted bytes it can’t read; a code expires in 10 minutes, the way back in 7 days.
NoteRun AirCode is a free extension for Chrome on your computer. Up to 10 MB per transfer.
Code that uses the internet isn’t supported: urllib, requests and sockets don’t work. Read your data from files.
For iPhone and iPad with iOS 17.5 or later, tested on devices with 4 GB of memory or more.
No account, no ads, no tracking: NoteRun collects no data.
