Sleepcraft reads your sleep data from Apple Health and breaks it down differently than most apps.
It shows your sleep on a 12-hour clock face so you can see exactly when you got deep sleep, REM, light sleep, and awake periods. Instead of one combined sleep score, Sleepcraft gives each phase its own score — deep, REM, light, continuity, and regularity — so you know exactly what's working and what isn't.
Scoring is calibrated to your age and sex. A 50-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman have different optimal deep sleep and WASO targets, based on clinical benchmarks from the NIH, CDC, and NHS.
You can tag daily factors like late coffee, alcohol, or a hard workout and see how they affect not just your overall sleep, but each individual stage. Some patterns aren't obvious — for some people, ovulation can increase deep sleep, or a daytime nap might actually extend total sleep duration rather than shorten it. Sleepcraft surfaces these personal links so you're not guessing.
It also connects your daytime active energy and HRV to nightly recovery, and uses your historical data to forecast tonight's sleep quality based on your current trends.
All processing happens on your iPhone. No backend servers, no accounts. Your tagged factors and ratings sync through your own iCloud.
