About Hetjens-German Museum of Ceramics
Hetjens-German Museum of Ceramics is one of the best ceramics museum in Germany. It was established in 1909 based on a bequest by Laurenz Heinrich Hetjens, and is the only historic museum in the world that shows ceramics from its early years to present days. Among over 20,000 pieces of its collection, the majority them are open to public in a display area of 8500 square meters.
