Description

The NATS Safety Culture self assessment app investigates what is keeping us safe and are we safe enough, providing a high level insight into your perceived safety culture

NATS ( The United Kingdom’s Air Navigation Service Provider ) has more than a decade of experience in measuring and reporting on Air Navigation safety culture,
helping client organisations develop strong and reliable safety cultures of their own. As a world class leader in safety, NATS applies these same methods in-house,
providing a foundation for our commitment to continuous safety improvement. All organisations reinforce thousands of assumptions every day, sometimes intentionally
and sometimes unintentionally.

The NATS approach to Safety Culture is to understand what assumptions are shaping people’s behaviour and the decisions they make. This allows us to create tailored
improvement plans that reinforce the assumptions we want to see emerging and discourage those we don’t.

The NATS Safety Culture Methodology comprises 3 services that have been used repeatedly to deliver improvement in NATS and in other companies across many safety critical industries:

Firstly the NATS Safety Culture Self Assessment App is provided to help you gain an initial understanding of your safety culture.

Secondly the NATS Diagnostic Survey provides an in-depth look at attitudes and perceptions across your organisation. It is a highly streamlined process that provides a
cost-effective insight into Safety Culture across all occupational roles

Thirdly NATS Safety Culture Improvement Campaigns provide a tailored safety culture improvement plan based upon tried and tested methods from the NATS Safety Culture Toolkit.
