Not convenient

Been to starbucks many times and they required to put money in the card then they will allow customers to accumulate star points. Why dont you guys just allow people to pay by cash then accumulate points by scanning QR code or barcode Or build another function to allow customers put their money from bank account to SB app by themselves, not at the counter. It is so inconvenient when the store is crowded and customer just stand there for so long to make 2 transactions.

Down sides: must top up $$$ into the member card first, this is a trick to encourage people to keep topping up $$$ since the card balance is still always there, you could hardly clear all of the balance. Consumers will have to come back if still want to clear it out. The services is going down in some stores such as Tan Son Nhat one. Staff keeps inviting customers to buy more and more. Of course people know it is up-sale but it’d turn out to be impolite as pushing too much. Finally, no thank-you at all. You must value customers if you need them.
