Changing the lyrics language while you are on the original tab now takes you straight to the two-language view. On iPhone, after opening a song in Spotify or Apple Music, SongSense brings you back to the home screen when it cannot tell what is playing, so the microphone is one tap away. The Spotify and Apple Music buttons now glide into place when the credit bubble closes instead of jumping. Coming back from the player picks up where it is, and the lyrics follow the next song.

Open the song you are reading in Spotify or Apple Music: small round buttons sit in the bottom-left corner of the lyrics screen and next to each song in History. They appear only when that player is installed on your phone. Apple Music opens the same recording our lyrics follow; Spotify opens its search with the song on top.

Lyrics are easier to follow: only the line being sung is bright, while lines already sung fade back like the ones still to come, on every tab. While a translation is still being prepared, the line being sung stays bright and a small "translating" bubble shows on the lyrics screen, even when you changed the language from the home screen. Reporting a problem with a song is simpler: tick everything that is off and send it in one go; the report sheet also reminds you that a double-tap on the line being sung re-syncs the lyrics. "People are searching" opens each song in the language shown on its tag. Adding songs from a profile to a playlist lists each song once.

The Phon tab now shows what each line means right under its pronunciation, so you can sing along and understand the song at the same time, without switching tabs. The original script stays in the other tabs. Copying lyrics from the Phon tab follows the same layout.

Songs in your own language now show up bright and ready the moment the lyrics screen opens, instead of looking "still translating" for a few seconds. Listening to a song again is as good as the first time, the "report a problem" button is there on the very first listen, and the "not recognized" screen offers a demo song and "Open your music app".

Sharing by email got a fresh look: the lyric card and the meaning card now arrive drawn right inside the message, in your chosen theme. Add a song shows the album and length of every result, so you can pick the exact version, and tells you when we have lyrics for a different version of the same song. Links to a shared meaning open that meaning directly in the app. The home screen now asks whether music is playing on your phone or around you before you tap, and a failed attempt tells you plainly to play music first and tap again. When a song plays in a different version than the one we know (for example a radio edit), the app tells you the timing may be off and how to fix it with a double tap. Plus smaller fixes and improvements.

A much faster start: the app now opens straight into a live song demo, so you see within seconds what SongSense does - lyrics moving with the music, translation, pronunciation and the meaning behind the song, in 38 languages. Song search is open to everyone: look up any song in the full music catalog even before signing in. Signing in and Sense Points are only needed when you add a new song to the catalog.
