What You Can Scan:
- URL links with a plain-English safety summary, manual Open in Browser button, Share, and optional details about why a link looks suspicious.
- Wi-Fi codes showing network name, type, hidden status, Copy Password, and Share Network Code.
- Contact cards with name, company, title, phone, email, and website plus Save Contact when you choose it.
- Email, SMS, and phone codes with ready actions like New Mail, New Message, Call, Copy Address, and Copy Number.
- Calendar event codes with title, start time, and location plus Add to Calendar.
- Retail barcodes with formatted number, type label, Search the Web, and Copy Number.
- Plain text with a quick headline, full text view, Copy Text, and Share.
How It Works:
- Open the Scan tab and point your camera at a code. The app highlights what it sees and avoids double-opening the same result right away.
- Review the result sheet, choose an action like Open in Browser, Copy Password, Save Contact, Add to Calendar, or Search the Web, then tap Done to return to scanning.
- Use Try a sample scan from the camera toolbar to preview how link warnings look.
- If camera access was denied, use Open Settings from the built-in access screen.
Why the safety check helps:
- Flags links that use a raw number address instead of a normal site name.
- Warns about shortened links that hide the final destination.
- Looks for lookalike web addresses and suspicious domains often used in scams.
- Shows a details view with redirect count, domain age when available, code type, and the reasons a warning was triggered.
- Never opens a scanned link automatically; opening is always your choice.
History and Library:
- Search history by scanned value or your own tag.
- Filter by result type such as URL, Wi-Fi, contact, email, SMS, phone, calendar, barcode, or text.
- Filter link results by Safe, Warn, or Danger.
- Open any saved scan to view the full content, safety result, code type, time, tag, Share Payload, or Delete.
- Use Edit mode to select multiple rows and Delete N at once, or swipe to delete a single item.
- Save created QR codes to My Library, where each item appears with a thumbnail, title, and relative date.
- Open any saved code to view it full size, inspect the content, Share PNG, or Delete from Library.
Create QR Codes:
- URL form with optional label and automatic completion when you type a web address without the full prefix.
- Plain text form with support for longer notes up to 2,950 characters.
- Wi-Fi form with choices for Open, WEP, WPA, WPA2, and WPA3 plus a hidden network toggle.
- Contact form with full name, phone, email, organization, title, and website.
- Email form with recipient, subject, and body.
- SMS form with recipient and pre-filled message.
- Calendar form with title, all-day switch, start, end, location, and notes.
Useful on iPhone:
