This version adds downloadable Offline AI models, whole-workspace sharing and a link browser that keeps you in your notes. NEW - Pick your own offline model: besides the built-in model, you can now download Gemma 3 or Qwen3 from Settings › Offline AI (iOS 26 or later). - Chat and ask your library without internet. Your downloaded model answers when you pick it and steps in automatically when you lose connection. - Tap Check eligibility to see if your phone has the memory, storage and speed for a model before you download it. - Share a whole workspace: open a workspace card's menu, choose Share workspace… and add people by email as an Editor or Admin. - Web links in your documents now open in a sheet over the page. Swipe it down or tap close to get straight back to writing. IMPROVED - Template icons in the template gallery now show in full instead of being cropped. FIXED - The app no longer flashes white when it opens with a dark theme. - The Tasks tab keeps your pinned database after an app update. - Taking a photo no longer crashes the app on a device without an available camera.

Start a workspace from a template, show your databases your way, and open shared documents right in Hillnote. NEW • Start from a template: when you create a workspace, pick a template under Start with, or tap All to browse them. Hillnote sets up its documents, databases and tools for you. • Custom database views: see a database's rows as cards, a chart, a timeline, flashcards and more. Start from a template or build one with AI. Filters and search still apply, and edits save back. • Shared documents open in Hillnote: links people share with you now open right in the app instead of the browser. Edit if you were given edit access, or read view-only. • Save text to Quick Notes from any app: select text in Safari, Notes or Mail, tap Share, then Hillnote. It goes straight into Quick Notes and you stay in the app you were reading. A new "Save to Quick Notes" shortcut works with Siri and the Action button. IMPROVED • Opening a workspace from Home is faster: your files appear right away instead of a blank screen and a spinner. • Pick a due date from a calendar when you add a task from Home. FIXED • Picking a date while adding a database row now works reliably, and the calendar follows the app's theme.

Small fixes on the Home screen. FIXED • The Settings and Tasks sections on Home now scroll on smaller screens instead of being cut off. • Removed the extra space above the Home header. • The status bar text now follows your theme, light or dark

New tab bar on Home: Workspaces, Feed or Tasks, and Tools now sit together in one compact icon bar at the top of Home, with Settings on the gear beside it. Easier start with Tasks: If you haven't pinned a task database yet, the Tasks tab now explains what it shows and gives you a Choose database button to pick one.

Your tasks on Home: Make Tasks your second tab on Home and pin any database that has a Status column. Type or dictate a new task, and move tasks to the next status with a tap. Switch between Tasks and Feed any time in Settings under Second tab. Share a document with a link: Tap Share… on a document to copy its link, invite people by email or send it from the share sheet. Choose who can view or edit, open it to anyone with the link, or add a password. Scan several pages into one note: Take photos of up to 10 pages or add them from your library. Hold a page to reorder it, and Hillnote reads every page into one note. Tap to compare the text with the original pages. Open Markdown files right away: Open a .md file from Files or another app and read it in Hillnote without picking a workspace first. Tap Import to workspace to keep it. Record from your watch face: Add the Voice Note complication to your Apple Watch face and tap it to start recording right away. Fixes and improvements: The Voice assistant button in Control Center works again. Hillnote is more responsive. Opening, saving and syncing documents no longer slow down the rest of the app.

A fresh way to get started Choose your language, pick a setup that fits how you work and go light or dark, then name your first workspace. Want to see it again? Tap Help me onboard in Settings. Talk to your notes (Beta) Ask about your notes or tell Hillnote what to open, hands-free. Turn on Voice assistant in Settings under Beta features. Start it from the mic in chat or in a note, long-press the mic in the bottom bar, or just say "Talk to HillNote" to Siri. You can also add it to Control Center or the Action button. It can read a note aloud and type what you dictate into the open note. Say "stop" when you're done. Watch recordings at a glance Voice notes you record on Apple Watch now show up in a pill at the bottom of Home. Tap it to open them in the right workspace, or hide it until the next one comes in. Filter your databases Filter any database view by its columns, and the filters are saved with the view.

Download workspaces together Pick every cloud workspace you want on this device and download them in one go. Downloads keep going in the background and pick up again after a restart. If one fails, just retry that one. Cloud libraries Connect libraries hosted on Hillnote Cloud, your own or ones shared with you. Pick one from the list or paste its link, then browse it and ask it questions with cited answers, just like any other library. Your Quick Note waits for you Switch tabs, open a workspace or close the app, and your unsaved Quick Note comes back, images included. No workspace yet? Create one straight from the save button. Tools, now like desktop Tools in your workspace now remember their settings and can read and update their sheets, on iPhone and iPad. A tool asks your permission before it touches a sheet. Each tool runs in its own sandbox, so tools can't see each other's data. Fixes If you use more than one account, an expired session no longer signs you out of the wrong one.

Hillnote in your language Hillnote now comes in 31 languages. Pick one and the whole app switches right away, no restart needed. Covers the editor, drawings, widgets, the share sheet, notifications and the Apple Watch app. Right-to-left layouts for Arabic, Hebrew and Persian. A confidence bar next to each language shows how polished its translation is. Spot a mistake? Let us know! Library Your libraries are now on mobile and iPad. Open one from the workspace sidebar to browse its volumes, outlines and figures, or open the original file. Ask a question and get an answer that cites the exact sections it came from. Tap a citation to jump straight to that page in the PDF. Save an answer as a document, or as a playbook so the same kind of question gets answered the same way next time. Chat can read your libraries too.

Better collaboration: • Edit the same file together. Changes merge automatically, with a fallback when a conflict cannot be merged. • A pill above the editor shows who is in the workspace with you. Hillnote Feeds: • A new Feed tab resurfaces notes from your own library with 12 card styles. Everything is built on your device, nothing is uploaded, no reading history is tracked, and it works fully offline. • Infinite scroll, a redesigned feed engine, and the feed now scopes to your active account. Notepad: • A scratch pad that slides over any note you are editing. It saves as you type and stays on your device. Copy it out or send it to Quick Notes with one tap.
