Updated iOS dictation with local and cloud modes, a single insertion after polishing, and revised vocabulary and language-variant handling.

• Smart cleanup can now use Claude (Settings → Smart Cleanup → Service): more accurate names, self-corrections and lists, with your own Anthropic API key. • Cloud recognition no longer adds phantom endings like "thanks for watching". • When Claude does the cleanup, speech recognition keeps using your saved Groq key.

• Four keyboard modes: Dictation, Help me write, Rewrite and Ask. Tap the mode button at the top right; the current mode is always shown. • New step-by-step guides (Settings → How to use): add the keyboard, get a free Groq key and your first dictation, with a picture showing where to tap. Tap Paste and your key is saved and tested. • Smarter cleanup: fixes homophone typos and handles self-corrections, filler words and lists better without changing numbers or negations. • Cloud recognition sends audio while you talk, so text appears sooner. • Full English interface; the keyboard follows your dictation language. • Light haptics on tabs and options (can be turned off).

• Fixed translations in the Simplified Chinese interface. • Fixed an occasional keyboard crash. • After a phone call or another app's voice chat ends, the keyboard can take the microphone back and keep dictating. • A light haptic tap when you change a setting. You can turn it off in Settings. • Settings have been rearranged so the common options are easier to find.

• More natural punctuation: questions end with a question mark, clear exclamations with an exclamation mark, and the last sentence no longer ends with a full stop. • The gear on the keyboard now opens UTUVO Type settings.

• The candidate bar now scrolls, and a new expand button opens a full page of candidates. • Speak-to-edit and translate fall back to your Smart Cleanup cloud key when Apple Intelligence is unavailable, with a clear message. • Fixed the language badge sometimes wrapping onto two lines. • Clearer wording for the context setting in Smart Cleanup.

• Zhuyin now predicts as you type: candidates appear after the first symbol, with initials-only shortcuts and tone-free typing. • After you pick a word, the keyboard suggests the next phrase (Zhuyin and Pinyin). • The English keyboard has a suggestion bar with completions and spelling fixes. • All predictions run on your iPhone; nothing you type is sent anywhere.

• Fixed a crash at launch on iOS 26 and earlier. • New tip jar: Settings → Support. Tips are optional, unlock nothing, and UTUVO Type stays completely free. • Setup steps now match iOS 27 wording. • Completed Simplified Chinese translations.

• Smart Cleanup now recommends Groq. Google Gemini's free tier runs out quickly; Groq has a free tier, is fast, and with cloud recognition turned on, names and dictionary words come out more accurately. • If you already use Gemini, your setup stays as it is. • Updated in-app guide.

• Optional cloud recognition: save your own Groq, Gemini or Alibaba Cloud Bailian key in Settings → Smart Cleanup and turn it on. Each dictation is re-recognized with your key for more accurate names and dictionary words; if it fails, the on-device result is used. Off by default. • Sentence-final particles such as 啊 are no longer removed. • Smart Cleanup settings now show recent successes and failures, and why (for example, a used-up free quota). • More reliable when you keep talking, tap the orb while text is being finished, or switch tabs — no lost or duplicated sentences.

Typing and dictation cleanup feel smoother, with better correction of stutters, repetitions, and self-corrections. The voice session now stays open while you keep using the keyboard, and you can extend this session to 10 minutes. When no voice session is open, use iOS's back button to return to your app after starting the microphone.
