VU303 is the successor to VU202, the pocket sampler downloaded by more than 19,000 people on iOS. It is a phrase sampler and pattern sequencer built like the hardware samplers of the late '90s. Every key is labelled with what it does, every knob turns, and everything you need to make a beat sits on one panel – on your iPhone, on your iPad, or on stage.
VU303 is AUv3 Effects Host but also works as AUv3 Instrument Plugin!

• Your VU202 projects open and sound as they did: their pads keep the VU202 engine, and you can move any pad to the new VU303 engine

SAMPLE ANYTHING
• Record from the microphone or an audio interface, resample the app's own output, or import audio files, whole folders and the sound of a video

LIVE FX
• Eight XY pads on the master output, each with one of 16 performance effects such as tape stop, filter, beat repeat, grain scatter, vinyl warp and crusher
• LATCH keeps an effect on after you lift your finger
MIDI
• Play the pads from any MIDI keyboard or pad controller
• MIDI LEARN: map knobs, keys, pads, faders, XY pads and TRIM markers to your controller, and save and share the mappings as templates

EXPORT AND PROJECTS
• Render a pattern or the whole song as a 24-bit WAV mix or as stems
• Autosave; projects are saved as .vu303 files
