読み仮名は「じっこ」が正式ですが、生活の中で「じゅっこ」と発音されることが多いため、幼児に理解しやすいよう採用しています。
また、「４」「７」「９」は、「し」「しち」「く」とも読みますが、生活の中で発音されることの多い「よん」「なな」「きゅう」としています。
