Der Bayerische Blasmusikverband ist Herausgeber des Magazins mit dem Titel „Blasmusik in Bayern“. Die „Blasmusik in Bayern“ ist das offizielle Fachorgan des Bayerischen Blasmusikverbandes und seiner Mitgliedsverbände, in dem alle relevanten Informationen der Verbände veröffentlicht werden.
Die „Blasmusik in Bayern“ wird seit dem 1.1.2020 in der Nachfolge der „Bayerischen Blasmusik“ herausgegeben.
Der Bayerische Blasmusikverband ist der Zusammenschluss von 9 Verbänden der Blas-, Spielleute- und Jagdhornmusik in Bayern mit 120.000 aktiven Musikerinnen und Musikern.
