We had an wonderful 2 day stay here.
Situated in a nice quiet upmarket residential area on the lower 1/3 of a hill, the house is a very short and easy walk to and from the beach, even if carrying a surfboard.
Town centre with lovely restaurants is about 3km away.
We much preferred the endless beach walk from our accommodation in the opposite direction to town - the sand was much softer and the experience very peaceful.
The flatlet was spotlessly clean, to the point that we didn’t see the difference when the windows were open or closed. And bed linen, towels (and all else provided) were of high quality and as if new.
One wakes up to the most stunning colours of the sun just starting to peep over the horizon of the sea.
The hospitality and hand delivery of freshly baked breakfast muffins each morning was an added pleasure!
The huge shower and sitting area have beautiful sea views with the comfort of being out of possible wind and intense sun.
We decided that a stay on the beachfront may not have been as pleasant. Most beachfront accommodation have blinds down all day long because of the sun on sea glare and intense heat, which may make it difficult to fully enjoy that perk. Plus, if windy, they may experience the sand blowing at them.
In the end, we were very happy to have been set back slightly from the beach, whilst still being able to enjoy lovely views and easy access.

What an incredible, beautiful and well run resort. From check in to check out and everything in between this was the most organised, excellent and fabulous hotel to visit. Fantastic staff, excellent food with lots of options, a big and beautiful beach which one can snorkel from without even going out on a boat, nice large rooms with balcony and sea view, excellent cleaning, restaurant and bar staff and really good all round value for money. Everything was just spot on, to the point that we are already planning a return a - but for a longer next time! If you are searching online at which resort to go to, look no further. Better than the pictures. Not one complaint about anything - keep it up C Mauritius, you have a winning formula here! 10/10.

I swear by this guest house. I booked my parents at this guest house as my Dad was going to have an eye surgery at the nearest hospital. It was raining and my parents were using public transport. The owners volunteered to fetch them at the taxi rank and really took care of them. They made sure they had food, comfortable and well taken of. I’m so grateful that I chose this guesthouse for my parents to sleep at. The owners really took care of my parents and I couldn’t show my appreciation to them enough. I definitely recommend this guest house. My parents told me they totally loved and enjoyed their stay and when I am in Kokstad I’m booking this place. The hosts service is a 10/10. Thank you to the owners for being kind and generous to my parents.
