Solid app with silly navigation
Overall the app is solid, basically looks like a mobile site in a wrapper for your phone.
Reads well and simple enough to operate for the most part. However there are a couple very frustrating issues.
1. The menu and back button keep swapping based on scroll direction in an article and sometimes it just doesn’t even known what it wants to be. Appearing as back button but opening the menu instead. Please fix this, a combo function button is dumb and doesn’t work. The touch area is also very small so your never quite sure if it was tapped or not.
2. Please save the scroll location on the main list of articles so when I go back to the list from an article I don’t lose my place in the list and then need to scroll from the top again.
Untimely refresh/reloads
Why does the app refresh on every instance. If I lock my screen and open it immediately after, I have to find the article again before continuing. Same with switching apps. Super annoying.
