Needs some work
Writealotinevernote
Evernote is generally great. The sync is efficient, web clipper very helpful. The organizing of notebooks is helpful but could do with the option for sub-notebook groupings. only one level of grouping doesn’t make sense to me if you’re using Evernote to organize lots of things. Photo conversion to text and doc is fantastic. The auto-formatting for numbers and bullets is very annoying - every time you delete a row it throws the numbering out and this can only be corrected by deleting the number on every single line all the way back to where you edited! Massive time-waster. Also when you paste text that has any space in paragraph it add new numbering to every line. The presentation option has been removed for ipad and iphone, which makes it useless for delivering presentations- not sure why that was removed. Not really impressed that some basic things like these haven’t been attended to even with the premium subscription.
Search problem
lucapriati
For the past few months the search funciton doesn't work the same. You could search for something and the page would go straight to that section on the note but now i search for something and i will have to manually scroll through the note to find where is placed. (if is not in the note it will tell me that so when it doesn't tell me that means it is in the note and i have to manually scroll and search)
A lesson in how NOT to do a user interface

I love the mobile version of this app but the Mac version had me ready to throw my computer out the window. Without shortcut keys you are screwed. In the mobile version there is a giant button for the most obvious thing you need to do. Wanna create a new note? Giant button available for that. Mac? Hit the menu button then go to....etc. Jeez. How about navigating between Notebooks? After using Apple notes for a short while I found myself asking why i have not moved all my notes over. Navigation is a nightmare in Evernote. The product is great but the UX gives me anxiety. Please redo the UX. There is no shame in copying what your competitors are doing. Else, end up like Blackberry with everyone asking what happened.
Needs work but is still good

I have used Evernote consisently for the past 5 years. Currently I am a student and I manage all of my notes and digital books with Evernote, as well as, group work projects and freelance work through shared notebooks. The issue with Evernote is the core feature - writing - is leagues behind it's competition (Ulysses, Apple Notes, Bear etc); however, when it comes to Search and Knowledge Organisation Evernote is still the king. Performance is also a problem when compared to it's competition (Ulysses, Apple Notes, Bear etc) - it doesnt feel like a mac app. The solution is to rewrite a more performant macOS and iOS app, and rethink the writing experience (just copy Apple Notes/Ulysses and you'll be sorted)
Features:
- You can now add and manage AI Assistant memories to personalize responses.
- You can now upload and play .ogg and .opus audio files.
- Pinned tabs can now be reordered by drag-and-drop.
- Navigate to Home, Tasks, Calendar, and more directly from the Search modal.
Fixes:
- Fixed a bug where the AI Assistant moved only the last note instead of all selected notes.
- Fixed a bug where F2 rename shortcut stopped working after opening multiple tabs.
- Fixed various translation inconsistencies.
