In order to secure a single flight booking I had to go in and out of the app 6 times!!! Firstly, each time I wanted to find out information, such as the baggage allowance, it would freeze and not go back to the booking page. Secondly, it kept telling me that the session had timed out! As a result, the final time that I tried securing my booking I didn’t even attempt to book a seat! Previously I’d booked 2 different seats, but they don’t come up on my booking profile when I reentered the app! Plus, the seat that I chose originally had not yet updated itself back to its vacant status, so it wasn’t available for me to choose anyway! Very frustrating!

I’ve tried using the app for booking and managing flights, and it’s hands down the worst travel app I’ve encountered. It freezes up a staggering 99% of the time… whether you’re searching for flights, checking in, or just trying to view your itinerary. Desperately needs a full update to fix these constant crashes and lag spikes.For context, South African Airways (SAA) has a nearly identical app design, and theirs runs flawlessly without a single hitch. It’s baffling how FlyAirlink can’t match that basic reliability. Overall, this app is a frustrating time waster that makes travel planning feel like a chore. 1/5 stars… stick to the website if you can.

Fortunately this is one of my favorite airlines which makes this so disappointing and frustrating. Arguably one of the worst travel apps in the world. It needs to be completely redesigned and built. Not only that but the pricing and availability algorithms need to be changed reviewed and updated. I ended up paying 9000 return for two hours of domestic flights!! The payment system is dire and doesn’t function as it should dropping the flow and causing you to start ALLOVER AGAIN! And then the price of the ticket goes up!! Please guys sort it out!! Find a new designer and developer! You owe it to yourselves and more so to us your loyal clients!
