The official Google app gives you more ways to search – Use your camera to uncover who painted that artwork, translate a menu on your travels, find out what type of dog that fluffy thing is, shop anything you can see, and solve your homework. Oh, and you can also search for songs by humming.
Feature highlights:
• Use your camera to identify what you’re looking at – whether that’s a colourful butterfly, a spiky plant, or anything else you’re curious about.
• Translate over 100 languages on things like road signs, menus, and any other words you can point your camera at.
• See something you like? Use your camera to find out where you can buy it.
• Refine your camera searches by adding words – whether you want those shoes but in ‘blue’, or want to learn how to ‘repair’ that broken bit on your bicycle.
• Search by singing, even when you’ve forgotten the lyrics. Hum a song into the Google app to find out what it is.
• Use your camera for homework help. With step-by-step guides and videos, you can learn ways to solve maths, chemistry, biology and physics problems.

Google app crashing with new iOS
Google app is the greatest! I’ve been using it for a good 5 years on my phone daily and can’t imagine life without it.
There seems to be a bug in the latest version though - I updated my iOS two days ago and since then google app opens as normally and crash closes 30 seconds later. I’m using iPhone 8 if it makes a difference. Hope it gets fixed soon. Thank you!
Two nights stay
I booked for two nights at this place , they show inside pictures of the room you booking online .in my case l picked a room with double bed but after payment l got a massage that l was going to get a room with two single beds which l thought by the time we get there since they saw my booking was for a couple , beds would be joined and put proper blankets for two but nothing was changed we even ask for blankets for a couple but the answer was unfortunately we don’t have back up blankets in this case imagine over night the two of us in a single blanket , bad experience ever . Their breakfast is average but poor service , savers attend to first come , take their order go cook it save attend the next guest take order go cook and so on which l think they need more training on saving guest .staff cleanliness : please make sure when dealing or saving food to guest staff needs clean presentable clothes if you can not afford giving them uniforms , the room l used number 7 bathroom spaces is very disturbing since it’s very tiny space to open and closing bathroom door, we had bins with no bin liners inside please improve on that ,lastly please make sure all your rooms should have side bed lights switch than me wake up go look for a light switch away from the bed.
False "No connection" alert
Are Google and Apple undergoing some dispute that has caused ALL Google Apps to misbehave on all my iOS devices?!
Every Google app claims "No connection" whether I'm connected via LTE or a high speed WiFi connection. I then have to toggle the data and or WiFi switches on and off several times before any of the Google apps acknowledge I'm connected. And I have to go through the rigamorale with every app individually, multiple times a day.
What is happening?! I'm begging you to fix it! I can't do a thing productively anymore!
