Google Translate 4+

I recently traveled across Russia and this app was my savings grace. The camera section of the app was great for translating menus. I did find that the conversation part often got my English pronunciation wrong but at the time I didn’t realize that I could set the speech region, which I have now done. I look forward to trying the conversation part of the app on my next trip.

Google translate where to start, it is amazing! I can’t even put my opinion out. It has done so much for me when translating Dutch to English or English to Afrikaans but I have come to a conclusion on what is wrong with it (It is a short list): It’s grammar is appalling! I translated a text from Afrikaans to English and this is what it came with(It was the December holiday and I visited Arno with my cousin. Before starting my travel to Spain I looked for a useful translator and the ones I tried had negative reviews. I thought let me stick to google translate on the browser. I searched for google translate app and am very impressed with the app. The handwriting feature is very responsive, the voice feature is also good. I recommend this app if you are to travel abroad. From Spain it’s moving to Eastern Europe and I will need it greatly.
