Send links from iOS to a Mac

Description

Quickly send a link from your iOS device to your Mac.

This app receives links from your iOS device and opens them.

For example, share a link from Safari on your iPhone or iPad and have it open in the default browser on your Mac.

You can send a link even if your iOS device and/or Mac are offline. The link will be sent and received the next time the devices are online. The link will never be lost. The devices do not need to be on the same network.

Your iOS device and Mac must have iCloud enabled and be signed into the same Apple ID account.

My personal use-case is that I often discover cool stuff when I check Twitter on the go and I want to dig deeper into it later on my Mac. I have tried Instapaper, Pocket, Safari Reading List, iCloud Tabs, and more. The problem with them all is that I forget to check them.

You can even use this app to trigger shortcuts on your Mac from your iOS device. See the website for more info.

Game-Changing App with Great Support

Hyperduck is a fantastic concept, and now, after some initial hiccups, it works flawlessly! When I first downloaded the app, I struggled to get it working between my iPhone 15 Pro (iOS 18) and my M1 MacBook Pro (running Sequoia). No matter what I tried, links simply wouldn’t open on my MacBook, which was frustrating because the potential usefulness of this app is huge.

After reaching out to the developer, I was pleasantly surprised by his quick and helpful response. He explained that macOS 15 had a bug causing links not to open when the window was hidden. He suggested trying the latest update (1.2.1), which fixed the issue entirely.

Now, I’m thrilled with how well it works. Having links open seamlessly on my MacBook from my iPhone has been a game-changer, making my workflow much more efficient. Kudos to the developer for being responsive and providing a fix so quickly.

I’m happy to recommend this app now that it’s running perfectly!
