I am based in South Africa and drive a 4x2 Ford Ranger XLT. I recently took my vehicle for its 60,000 km service when the odometer was already at 64,000 km. I was unaware that the service was due at 60,000 km, and unfortunately, the app did not notify or remind me that the service interval was approaching. Since my app is running on the latest updates, I would like guidance on how to resolve this issue and ensure that future service reminders are received correctly.

New App but still no functionality

Having received the update that theres a new app to download with exciting new features and fixing everything that was wrong in the previous app, I eagerly went and downloaded the app, hoping that I will once again be experiencing the functionality I once had, until Ford had started taking it away on the previous app.Luckily I had my reservations, which held true… still no functionality available anymore like being able to do remote start, fuel check, odometer check etc, which was a few of the features that are STILL BEING ADVERTISED AS BEING PART OF THIS APP!! I would’ve understood if it was a case of my vehicle not being Sync 3 capable(lower spec vehicle), but I have an Ecosport 2021 Titanium Auto for goodness sake, which is the top spec Ecosport you can buy!!!

I love this app, there is one issue though, when the vehicle is Double Locked and you try to Remote lock it you get an error “Failed to Lock the Doors”. This really is not great, I left my car at the Airport, wanted to make sure I locked it, but got the error. This was very stressfull as I did not know if the car was in fact locked or if one of the doors was open. When normally locked it works perfectly fine. Would be awesome if you can fix this.BTW, great to see the developer is responding to reviews.

I have an Iphone 10 that is currently on IOS 16 and cannot download IOS 17. The updated App now requires IOS 17. Where does this leave me? I am a pensioner and cannot afford to go and buy a new Iphone. I had 35 years service at Ford when I retired but now feel I am not part of the family anymore.
