I Casrinf is patheticlike the app as this is the only way i’m able to watch F1. Watching sessions from my phone is usually without hassle, however, casting the live or recorded footage to my relatively new tv is not working anymore? Same issue with friends and family also using the app. Quite annoying especially if it’s race day and prefer watching the race ons 49 inches instead of 5 inch display. Other than that it would be great if the F1 tv app would better integrate and actually form part of a app downloadable on your TV itself.

I’m so tired of paying top dollar for the best internet, paying top dollar for F1TV and then having it streamed to me in low res grainy barely discernible images. Thank goodness for the audio because otherwise there is literally no other way of knowing what is going on in the race. I have no other streaming app, which comes anywhere near being this appalling. If Netflix was this bad, they’d be bankrupt. How F1TV even survives is a miracle of the modern age. Whether live or delayed, somehow it’s like trying to breath through a straw. Unbelievably terrible. Pretty much theft. Don’t let F1TV steal your money. Pay 10x more for whatever cable or satellite if you’re that much of a fan. I love Formula 1, but F1TV is destroying the value of the sport, a sheer discredit. An app apparently developed by a kindergarten group.

My poor review is about Apple, not the F1 app. I suggest anyone subscribes directly with F1 and not via Apple as Apple aren’t interested in providing assistance or a full (fair) refund after taking a customers money, the app not working and the result being that no funds ended up with the service provider (F1).Apple eventually, after much begging and pleading, gave me a 60% refund after providing 0% service/benefit.Cut Apple (and their unethical business practises) out and subscribe directly with F1, even if it costs you more.

The screen sharing / mirroring / casting from iPhone to Samsung TV is very poor - always a connection issue so you can’t enjoy the live races with the family even though this App comes at a premium. Screen mirroring from a laptop also gives you a blank screen. Just disappointing coming from an App developed for the pinnacle of motorsport. If this can be resolved and live races can be streamed and screen casted without issues then I would give the App a 5. I do acknowledge the many other great features on the App and kudos to the developers here but really it’s the live events that people really want to catch.
