Profiles and watch history don't carry over

Moving to the new Disney+ app has been really disappointing. My profiles didn't come across from the old app, and watch history, recommendations and watchlists don't transfer either. With the old app shutting down on 12 October, paying subscribers are left rebuilding everything by hand and working out where they stopped in every show.Losing your data because of a platform change seriously damages trust in both the app and the subscription. Please add a way to carry over profiles, watchlists and viewing progress before the old app is retired.
I Can’t Download Anymore

First things first i don’t understand why everything from the previous Disney+ could not be moved over to the new one. Having to start again with everything is so tedious and there was really no need for it. Now i cant even download with the package that i have because it’s an “ad supported account”? Not once have i ever experienced an ad. I tried troubleshooting and nothing works so what exactly is going on with this update. Just bring back the older version if this what we’re gonna have to deal with.

Click Allow on iPhone to watch on my tv stick only for nothing to happen. I get having the app on my phone but I have a stick & projector so I don’t have to watch my favourite shows on a small screen for crying out loud. Worse off again if I opt to stream the tv stick controller is just a useless piece of accessory I must operate from my phone still why 🙅🏾♀️. The Tv stick app is also an updated version & I have login credentials so why must it be that I still need my phone for. Unbelievable unnecessary admin 👎
