This is by far the best card game I have ever played. However, it has p2w elements with its battle pass system and unforgiving spotlight cache system. But the gameplay is super unique and you do not need a complete collection to create a competitive deck. SD needs to improve the new player experience as it can take up to 3 months of reasonable grinding to create a competitive deck with paying. If you are looking to invest time into a game I would highly reccomend snap!

ATTENTION!!!!!!!! Do not Play this game!!!!!! The Negative reviews are telling the truth about this game!!!! Marvel Snap is not fun for F2P players or P2W players. It is a ripoff scam that is only interested in money. The matchmaking is definitely rigged. It may seem fun in the beginning but as you progress towards the later stage you will face off against an opponent who has better competitive strong cards than you. In fact the only way to get those cards is by paying them through bundles and battle passes. Also this game allows players to cheat and hack the game that not even the game developers themselves don’t even notice it. An anonymous person has shared information about the cheating that is taking place in Marvel Snap. The game developers should be ashamed! Unfair Matchmaking and unfair competitive decks Adding in P2W elements which makes the game difficult to earn more cards Allowing cheating and hacking to take place I guarantee you that Marvel Snap is not a good game to play for F2P players.

This game use to be enjoyable - now there are just too many new, strong and broken characters deployed hiding behind a BattlePass each month or other means of in game currency too difficult, expensive, time-consuming and random to try and unlock by spending more and more money on the game. This game isn’t what it use to be - just another game developed around squeezing money out of players for brief and short lived pseudo progress - until the next cycle of unbalanced and paywall hiding characters are released the next month, with more progress locked away by additional and ever-growing paywall mechanisms. If you don’t spend actual money - no matter how much you grind - you will never keep up with the ever changing, broken, and biased game mechanics. Alioth is a prime example of the state of the game. After 2 plus years - it’s time to delete this game. It just isn’t as fun as it use to be…. Another case of corporate greed robbing fans of fun. Good bye 🫡

I agree with the other negative review that it seems fun at first and then gets impossible and frustrating later on in the next stage. The game starts by making you fight up to 100 points before it unlocks the next more competitive stage. I went pretty quickly through the first stage and a lot of the matches felt fair and highly strategic and I was loving it! However…once you get those 100 points you are put into the next stage where every single person you will go against has an insanely competitive deck that you will NOT STAND a chance of winning against no matter how well you try plan. The game makes you feel like the only way to beat these people would be to spend real money on the game That brings me to my second gripe and that is that the game is wildly expensive for all the paid content. I am used to p2w games and things being locked behind paywalls but Marvel Snap is very obviously taking advantage of people with insanely high costs for everything. Even unlocking a single competitive card can be well over $50…whats more is there isn’t even a free pack system so give non-spenders even a 1% chance of getting a good card!!I think the game is fun, addictive and one of the best card collecting games out there but it’s unfortunate that it is a money grab
