Wipr blocks ads, popups, trackers, cookie warnings, and other nasty things that make the web slow and ugly.
Websites in Safari will look clean, load fast, and stop invisibly tracking you. You’ll notice significant improvements to your battery life and data usage. Setup is a snap.
The Filtr add-on extends Wipr’s blocking to all apps on your device. It acts at the network level, but unlike a VPN, it can access none of your data, and can be used in conjunction with VPNs, iCloud Private Relay, and custom DNS.
Wipr’s blocklist is updated twice a week automatically, and has enhanced versions for the following languages: Bosnian, Chinese, Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, Estonian, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Hebrew, Hindi, Hungarian, Icelandic, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Macedonian, Malay, Montenegrin, Norwegian, Polish, Romanian, Russian, Serbian, Slovak, Spanish, Thai, and Vietnamese.
Wipr is a universal app: install it on all your devices (iPhone, iPad, Mac, Vision Pro) with a single purchase. It’s fully accessible with VoiceOver, Voice Control, and more. Dark, Tinted, and Clear icon variants are included. Family Sharing is supported.
Because it’s developed by a single independent developer and 100% funded by its users, Wipr only answers to you: no one can pay to have their ads unblocked, and there are no “acceptable ads”.
This app was made with love and patience. I hope you’ll enjoy using it as much as I enjoyed designing and building it.

Wipr is a stellar blocking extension. Anyone giving this app less than 5 stars either didnt configure it properly, has it running concurrently with other slower Adblock extensions and/or VPNs or they’re just trash talking because they’re pushing their or app. Look, wipr is the only extension that lets me browse 9anime and other pop-up hell sites like soap2day without getting overrun by ads and popups. It’s rare to find good developers that care this much about their work. So a big thank you to Kaylee (if that’s your name lol)
Seems to break more websites recently
mike_w78
Been a long time fan of Wipr 1 and 2, but as of recent weeks more and more websites are entirely broken, forcing me to disable content blockers to browse. Latest iOS + in-app updates. Hope this can be resolved soon.
Developer Response
It will!
Performance wiper
PdvS1
I’ve been a long time user and fan of the original (v1) Wipr. Wipr 2 absolutely wiped the performance of the Safari browser 😞Rolled back to Wipr v1.
Developer Response
I bet you're using one of those browser performance testers – they don't really make sense when blockers are involved. In real word browsing, the performance won by blocking stuff is pretty much always huge compared to the overhead blockers add.
Not worth the money

I regret paying for this extension. It only blocks when it wants to, and then not even everywhere. E.g. X.com is full of ads.I will gladly update my review when it’s fixed and working properly. 😩
Developer Response
Please contact me through the app, I’m pretty sure the app isn’t enabled properly!
