Indeed is a useful app with a wide range of job listings across different industries and locations. The interface is easy to use, and applying for jobs is quick and convenient, especially with the one-click application feature. I also like that you can upload your CV and get matched with relevant opportunities.However, from my experience, it can be quite competitive, and many applications don’t get responses. Some job listings also seem outdated or already filled, which can be frustrating. While the platform has many opportunities, it may take time and persistence to actually secure a job.Overall, it’s a good tool for job searching, but it works best when combined with other job platforms and direct applications to companies.

Indeed is the best job search and application tool in SA. I have signed up with Careers24 and PNet, used Facebook and LinkedIn. Personally Indeed tops them with LinkedIn close behind. Indeed make the job search and application process seamless. Once you have signed in and uploaded your CV, Indeed extracts the info in the CV. and creates an Indeed CV. The creators of the app have created it in such a way that you can apply for a job in less than 10 taps. You won’t go wrong with them.

I thought people who say “ive applied to 200 jobs this month, and only got 1 response that didn’t go anywhere” were making things up. I applied to over 100 applications, i got 2 responses. No interwies. I have harvard qualifications. I applied in many different ways, styles. I applied to relevant applications, irrelevant applications. Jobs i qualify and specialise in, jobs I can do, jobs that require no skills, jobs i dont qualify for, everything i could think of. I even resorted to using ai to write my resume after a while. I believe indeed use the tinder model. Where they hide you for the first month or 2. Ive been applying for many months now on a semi daily basis.At least i got some data on the job market.
The app is good. But dont get your hopes up.
