Help Center Issue

I have exhausted my options in the Help Center and I have tried all the troubleshooting steps.

I have been without my account for the past week. 4 days ago it got restored, but without any sort of accessibility. Whenever I try to log in from various devices, after reinstalling and resetting passwords, it keeps on sending me back to the same old broken link that says Help Us Confirm You Own This Account.

Your system is working against the Helping policies, because I am not even able to submit an appeal form as my handle “cannot be found”, yet it’s available for everyone to see, just not for me to access. I am losing clients on a daily basis because I am not able to access my account.

How can I confirm that this is my account more than I have been trying to do already? This is taking up an extreme amount of time from my work, trying to get help to resolve this issue.

I have reached out to Facebook Business Help Center where they created a case ID for my issue, yet again they always send me back to Help Center that is not getting me anywhere.

I am extremely disappointed in this service. How can something personal that required so many years of hard work just be taken away from you by Instagram without proper assistance?

You mention community guidelines all the time, if you really care about mental health and people’s businesses- you will act properly and put technicians in place to truly help individuals.

Ease of use

1st I would like to say it has take me almost 3 days to complete this task of creating an account and linking it to my business page on Facebook. Every time I tried anything like creating the profile, or converting the page to a business account it would give me errors. I am computer literate but this nonsense was ridiculous... 1st I tried creating the profile using my company email, it said it was in use by another user, (which was impossible because I only created the email 3 days ago) so I tried the forgot password process and it told me that the email doesn’t exist. I did this with 3 other email addresses and it told me the same thing! HOW IS IT POSSIBLE THAT AN EMAIL IS BEING USED BY SOMEONE ELSE AND IT DOESNT EXIST??!?!
Needless to say I finally created the account using my phone number. Once that was done I thought I had a break through and it would be smooth sailing from here on out but alas ... I was horribly wrong. I tried linking my account to Facebook page several times and it asks to create a business account in order to link to a FB PAGE. So I tried and tried and tried ... every time getting an error message, I tried on my pc on my tablet on another phone and every time I got the same error message. This is very frustrating. SORT IT OUT.

What used to be fun is now frustrating.

I have been a long-term user of instagram, it used to be a great app that I enjoyed for its photo-sharing abilities and messaging facilities. What has detracted from its past ease of use and enjoyability is the annoying and irrelevant adverts that are almost always spam or a scam. At this point I’d pay for the app just to stop seeing them. The platform is full of spam and bots, which incessantly tag you in photos, try to follow you or send you and other users messages that are inappropriate or pure nonsense. Instagram makes no effort to address the huge number of fake accounts and the constant stream of spam that harasses its users. It also has made minimal effort to address the fact that influencers do not honestly indicate what is or isn’t a sponsored post, not mention the number of misleading products sold and advertised by these means. The stories function was a great addition until every 3rd story from someone you actually follow became an advert that was spam or scam — I see adverts for wigs from a dubious sources about 15 times a day and I am not interested in buying a wig nor a pet bed that I’ve seen 500 times under a different name. Extremely frustrated and over this app, what is the point?
