Good

Happy with this app, free version offers all you need. Two things that need to be fixed. The auto pause on the Apple Watch is annoying as each time I lift my arm to check my time while running it auto pauses. Also takes about 100 meters before the gps starts tracking my route, with my other running apps they start tracking immediately.
Great app

I really love this app. It gives good enough analytics for my runs, it tracks my efforts and my fitness. It make entire fitness journey easier to monitor. However, more often than not I forget to switch shoes between runs, to accurately track the miles on my shoes. If we really think about it, switching shoes is not an intuitive thing and that’s why I keep forgetting. It’s all well and good that Strava keeps record of the mileage on my shoes, but what’s the point when I need to manual switch shoes before each run? I think it’s time that Strava adds a feature that makes it easier to switch shoes between runs. How’s about an update where—after each run—runners are asked to select the shoes they used for that specific run? I think that would work. The feature of tracking the mileage will be more intuitive and easier to use. If it wasn’t for that, I’d give a 5 star rating. Please and thank you :)
Terrible map update!

I’ve had the Strava App for a couple of years now and it’s been great! I’m a paying subscriber. Unfortunately I have to absolutely highlight how bad the map upgrade is! There’s far too much information included and without filters to turn off certain features on the map, it makes for very challenging planning of new routes and due to the lack of contrast in colour - hard to see where your personal heatmap lies when in Strava Orange. This is a step backwards in usability. Please make items such as inner city pedestrian areas filterable! There’s no need to show every driveway when planning a cycling route for example. Otherwise, it’s a great app with lots of features and I’m completely addicted. Time will tell if the new map will deter me from spending hours planning new routes for my next adventure. I dare say it might.
Subscribers can now tell Strava what they’re working toward, whether that’s building strength or training for a race, and get more personalized workouts and insights tailored to your goals.
