Why is it that when I open a link to the Steam Store from an ad or web link, it opens in the Steam app where I am not logged in to the store, even though I am logged in to the app? It shows my profile picture etc, but says I must log in to add to wishlist. When I try to login, it fails with this error: ErrorThere was an error communicating with the Steam servers. Please try again later.

Initially when this app was updated to this new sleek look it was impossibly slow and didn’t cater to swipe back and forward iPhone users. After using it today I am really impressed with how seamless everything is. Load times are also much improved. Great job. This is my first review for this app.I still wish we could have the “Request a Refund” service added to the app, which is currently only available via a network browser.

Even with all the bugs steam is still the main storefront for games and their customer support team is scary as if you get hacked they as people say will track the hacker down and give your account back but at the end of the day steam is the best place /app ever made so thank you valve

Every time I open the app it doesn’t show me anything, it briefly flashes the screen with the steam guard screen for a split second and then goes back to nothing. How am I supposed to use the mobile authenticator if I can’t see anything? This is a serious problem that needs attention, the app is unusable in this state. I’m using an iPhone 7, my device is perfectly capable of running the app but these bugs force me to disable the authenticator in the desktop client until this gets fixed.
