Not what it used to be

Two years ago I would have 5 starred this app - I even used to pay for premium for about four years - but the amount of changes and "improvements" that have been brought to this application have completely changed the way it used to function and have forced a number of drastic changes without giving us proper settings to disable the new changes. For example, you used to just be able to sort your tasks into any order without having to deal with setting a time for each task, but now every time you move something around or say, push something to next week, the app automatically assigns it a date and time that I don't get to set the default for, and most importantly, I can't disable it. Moving a task to tomorrow WILL put it in your calendar whether you like it or not, requiring you to manually disable each one. There are a number of other similar minor but massively inconvenient and forced changes are at the core of this 1 star. Another would be the way they force default list orders on you. It used to work perfectly, then once we were used to how it worked, they just changed everything without even giving us a choice.If the developers give us a sorely overdue overhaul of the application settings and give us the ability to make things function as they always did going back the last two years, I'll come back and fix this review, hell, even pay for premium again, but it's doubtful that they will even see this given how non existent their premium "priority" support was. In the meantime I'll just be using a pen and a pad of paper because it's so much less inconvenient.
No billing notice, No user friendly way to cancel

No notification at all about upcoming subscription renewal, no way to cancel subscription from within the app or from Apple iPhone subscriptions like any other application. As far as I’m concerned they’ve stolen my money. After emailing their support I was notified that cancel must be done via web app but I am locked in for another annual term. Hope my R331,24 was worth the negative feedback. Get your dev team to include email notification a month prior and have your application reflect under iphone subscriptions like everyone else does.

If you did not subscribe via Apple then you will not be able to see the plan in your Apple subscriptions, just as with other payment methods. All of our payment options along with step by step cancellation instructions are readily available on our Help Center (https://support.any.do/billing-subscription-plans/) as well as details regarding billing and our refund policy. As mentioned in the TOS you've agreed to when upgrading the app, renewals are automatic unless the plan is cancelled per the details on our Help Center.
Premium subscription & stability issues

I have a premium subscription but do not have access to its benefits, like WhatsApp integration. I logged a call with support, and shows that I am not a premium account holder although I have paid for a subscription for the full year. App also has stability issues in that it does not open on phone or freezes, and tasks do not sync across devices.The app is a good app and has useful features, if only my account and stability issues could be sorted.

Our support team usually requests to see the invoice in such cases so the issue can be resolved. If you haven't sent yours still, please make sure to do so in order to have this matter sorted :) As to any technical issues, the team will gladly assist with those as well, should you provide them a detailed account :)
