New subscriber and loving every moment of the app and service. Huge and diverse collection of literature. I love both the audio and ebook. I’m giving this a 4 star purely because I am missing a few features which would make me enjoying the app even greater.Recommended features - Library: the space where all your save item would be. Sometimes you only just want to see them on their own- ebook: the ebook are not dynamic enough to fill the screen of the iPad or maybe I’m missing something in the settings. I read on the iPad and listen via the iPhone.- Family sharing: I have kids who love reading but it seem I will have to buy the each their own subscription unless again I’m missing a feature. The only way is to use the same login which is not good as this would keep each of our reading on the same page. An example like between by iPad and my iPhone.Great appLoving it
iPhone app great, Desktop app, not so much

I love this app and everything that is available on it. I love that it is affordable and it works beautifully on my iphone. However, the desktop app tends to bring up flurries of frustration when I try to navigate the windows. There is no quick and easy access to the media bar when I'm listening to an audio book. Even when it is open on the audio book while playing I have to go back a screen to access it. Sometimes it starts playing the audio book I've listened to last without it even being open to the book and if I then play another one the two books play over one another. I have to force quit the app to make it stop. Incorporating a media bar that hovers over all the other screens when a book is playing might make the navigation much easier. It might also enable users to have a less frustrating and confusing experience.

This has got to be one of the worst designed app ever. It simply does not work right with carplay making it very frustrating and dangerous to listen to audiobooks while driving. It also randomly decides to buffer even though the content is downloaded??? It will randomly lose your place and restart the book you’re listening to. It randomly decides to remove the book you have downloaded so 2 days into a book you go to finish it and its no longer downloaded?? Why????? They advertise unlimited listening but it is very much limited. If you listen to too many book then suddenly everything in your wishlist is unavailable until next month. Why the deceptive tactics? Just be upfront that you can only listen to x many books.

Lacking some great content
All books in a series of books were available at some point in time. I downloaded the last two. When I got to the end of the 4th book (after 150 hours of listening in total for all four books) the 5th and last book, suddenly, was no longer available. No warning, no communication that a downloaded and saved book will become unavailable. Upon enquiring about it, the person compared the service to a streaming service where titles are added removed all the time. Which is fair, but the streaming service gives ample warning, which Scribd/Everand does not. After 150hrs or listening a warning that I will not be able to complete the series if I don’t listen to the last book before a certain point in time, would have been great. The same old tired excuse is used, no explanation of why a 5th title gets discontinued if the rest by the same publisher and writer are still available. Subsequent questions were not answered or a completely irrelevant answer to the question was provided. It might very well be an automated response. Very disappointed in the feedback and service.
